STUDYING: Sustainability

When did you first become interested in conservation? The beach has always been my favourite location in the world. When I learnt about the plastic pollution crisis and how it was impacting marine life, I was devastated. I didn’t realise how most of the things deeply entrenched in our everyday lives was ruining some of the most beautiful parts of the world.

What are some of your favourite things about working at Wildchain? Everyone made me feel so welcome and included. The teamwork spirit is amazing! I loved that I could just lean over and ask anyone for help if I needed it. I learnt so much about wildlife conservation and sustainability efforts not only in Wildchain but also many other organisations in Thailand and in Africa. I’ll really miss working with the Wildchain team and I would do this all again if I could.

Any special memories from your time at Wildchain?

Going out for lunch together was my favourite part of the day. Everyone always suggested a Thai meal for me to try out and taught me the names of the dishes so I could order it on my own. I also loved playing badminton with Tern on Mondays.
