Growing up in rural Bavaria ignited Flo’s love for the natural world. When he was 20, he helped shepherd the endangered Tauernschecken goat out of extinction. The restored populations that were a result of this conservation initiative inspired him to focus his career towards environmental efforts and conservation projects. In addition to his love for Tauernschecken and other animals, Flo appreciates innovation. He has lent his expertise to co-found a sustainable fashion platform, and lead innovation initiatives such as Clean-Tech Hackathons, Design Thinking workshops and the creation of a startup incubator. He is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper and Vice-Curator of Global Shapers Bangkok.
Flo has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Management & Law from Management Center Innsbruck and a Master of Science (MSc) in Innovation and Technological Entrepreneurship from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto. Additionally, he has pursued study visits at Peking University, Fudan University Shanghai, and Ramkamhaeng University Bangkok.
Flo’s passion for conservation projects, innovation, and entrepreneurship have led him to co-found Wildchain. His work helps fund conservation projects – projects to help protect his favorite animal, the fearless honey badger.
